Delete your Mohar account
Deleting your account permanently removes your records. It cannot be undone.
Delete it in the app
- Open Mohar and make sure you are signed in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deleted from our server straight away and the app signs you out.
Can’t use the app?
Email contact@iisiichaa.com from the email address of your Mohar account (the Google account you sign in with), with the subject “Delete my Mohar account”. We may ask you to confirm the request. We delete the account within 7 days and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your profile: email address, name and Firebase user ID, and your sign-in record with Firebase Authentication.
- Everything you entered: accounts, transactions, categories, reminders and settings.
- Your registered devices and their push-notification tokens.
- Any bill photos you added. They are removed from file storage right after your account is deleted, and copies in our encrypted backups expire within 35 days.
When
- Our database: immediately.
- Encrypted backups: they cannot be edited, so copies in them expire on their own within 35 days. Backups are used only to recover from a failure, and we never restore a deleted account from them.
- Server logs (IP address and requests, no financial records): deleted within 30 days.
- Crash and error reports (no financial records): expire within 90 days.
- Your phones: the app keeps a local copy of your records on each phone you used. Uninstall the app, or clear its data, to remove it.
